Our Business Book slogan and campaign for Shop Leelanau First has been taken to heart by many Leelanau County residents, and they are taking the time to tell us so. . . and we appreciate it. We strongly believe that if one chooses to live in a community, then one should support that community in as many ways as possible. Shopping locally is just one of those ways.

As a Leelanau County business for the past fourteen years, it has been our goal, and still is our goal, to provide a wide variety of merchandise at a reasonable price. This allows you, the customer, to save considerable time and gas as you complete your shopping errands. In our extremely busy lives, we all could use more time . . . and gas, well, everyone is feeling the crunch there. Keeping our dollars in Leelanau makes sense and helps to build a strong financial base that can support our families, neighbors, and friends. The resulting economic stability will propagate an atmosphere for further merchant growth, which, in turn, expands the product line available to the consumer. . . you and me.
